After being admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, practised as an attorney at Bowman Gilfillan Attorneys for two years.

Completed the customary year of pupillage at The Cape Bar under the mentorship of Adv. Wege van Niekerk.

After admission as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and completion of pupillage at The Cape Bar (The General Council of the Bar), practised as a member of The Cape Bar for 5 years and 5 months and now (from the date of resignation - 31 March 2022, with effect from 1 May 2022 - from The Cape Bar) continues to practise as a member of the South African Bar Association as an Advocate, registered with the Legal Practice Council as a practising Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. Currently also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of High Court Chambers Cape Town.
